For Pure Chili Powder

  • ounces chili peppers of your choice dried, stemmed, seeded and crushed.

For a Chili Powder Blend

  • tablespoon smoked paprika
  • teaspoon ground cumin
  • teaspoon garlic powder
  • teaspoon oregano
  • teaspoon ground coriander
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

For Pure Chili Powder

Grind the peppers with a spice grinder until they are a fine powder. Store the powder in baggies or containers, or use as you wish. Keep them in a dark place, like your pantry, for freshness.

For a Chili Powder Blend

Combine the Chili Powder that you made with the smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, oregano, coriander and salt. Mix well. Store in baggies or containers, or use as you wish. Keep them in a dark place, like your pantry, for freshness.
